Post Macro for username and timestamp

Hey. Can someone reply to this post with a macro that will insert the username along with date and time into a given cell? It's for a file at work that is saved to a shared location. The workbook in question is essentially a weekly planner for the office to which all staff can add to. But each time a member of staff adds to it, that member of staff's username needs to be inserted along with the time and date of the edit. The idea is that this macro will be linked to a button that staff click when they have finished editing. If anyone can also come up with a macro that does this and then also saves the file to it's original location - would be greatly appreciated. I'm not good at VBA and I've been going round in circles trying to do this. Thanks in advance.

What is the definition of "username"? Do you mean the windows user? Or is there a username involved in the book itself?

Are you able to assign this macro to button yourself?

Maybe this will help you, not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for. You can add this code to the sheet where you want to tack the changes (after modifying the ranges).

When a change occurs on each row in the trigger range it will register the username, date and time when the change was made to the specified column's in the same row.
