Stop prompting for a password

Good evening all

I have been trying to get a workbook to open with the password in the macro

I have tried both lines below but it keeps prompting me for the password,,,, If I click OK,, it still works

Is there a way I can stop it prompting for the password

You could try Application.DisplayAlerts = False before (and True after) opening the workbook.

Displayalerts is already in it,, it still prompts for the password.... the user doesn't need to insert the password for it to work,,,

The workbook opens when a task is completed from another workbook... the password is inserted automatically,, but the prompt still appears,, they just click OK,, and it works..

I'm just looking for a way to stop the prompt

I have an issue with a password protected file in Excel 2013. Every Excel file i open and go to close it prompts me for the password of one specific file. I have tried to resave these files, Delete them. I can not get this to stop. Any thoughts?
