I'm using Excel Professional Plus 2016 and am wondering if it's possible to write a macro that will throw a pop-up window something like a Data Entry Form, but with a mix of free text boxes and drop-down lists (with restricted contents) to fill out. Once finished with the pop-up, the user would click "OK" or something similar, and whatever they entered would be put into the selected row on the sheet.
It seems like this should be possible, but I haven't been able to figure out the right combo of words to google. Is this just a Data Entry Form with a lot of bells and whistles? I haven't found a good resource yet on using a macro to pop up a Data Entry Form in the first place, or on creating a Data Entry Form with both drop-downs and free text boxes. The drop-down lists would be combo boxes, right?
Thanks for any help you can give me!!!!![]()
