I have a spreadsheet that has thousands of hyperlinks to product images. I need a function or vba code that will check each link to see if it is valid or returns a 404 error, etc.

Is this a spreadsheet or a database? It says spreadsheet, but you've posted in the Access forum section...
Could you attach a sample file so we can see the data layout. Far easier to help that way.

It is a spreadsheet. Looks like I posted this in the wrong forum. Are you able to help?
The forum will not allow me to paste the links or a file. Going to try sending a private message.
BadlySpelledBuoy: looks like it did attach the spreadsheet.
This thread has been moved to the correct section of the forum.

Leith Ross I tried running the code, but I got a "Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object".
Any idea why?
It is highlighting this section Set MSXML = CreateObject("MSXML2.XMLHTTP")
Hello GUEST_001,
It is probably related to your OS. You don't have that information listed in your profile - you should update it. What version of Windows and Office are you using?
Microsoft Excel for Mac
version 16.33
