    Does anyone know code that will update the recipe sheets with pictures?

    You have code already ... just a couple of tweaks necessary, mainly to unprotect and reprotect the target sheets:

    I have been playing with this trying to learn.

    I have made some changes to remove some errors.

    It sort of works. It also pastes the green and red shapes to R-3 sheet. Those shapes have code to protect and unprotect sheets.

    I tried your version and it has some bug after pasting pictures.
