finding cell values & dealing with functions

not sure if this should be 2 threads because i have 2 issues

1. I'm inserting quotes and & symbols into an equation and I'm having problem dealing with functions like INT and COS... pretty much all but PI() because i'm converting it to a number before i do the inserting
on my sample sheet sample 1, 2, 3 work but then when I use INT in sample 4 it doesn't convert column L to the long equation shown in K for the previous samples. I've tried a few things but this is the closest I have to working

2. whenever a formula ends with a name (found in column N) it doesn't call out the corresponding column M location... you can see how Sample1 & Sample2 work.... I don't want to use named ranges because I need to use upper and lowercase letters and things like t1, t2 as names.

the variable c is always a single character so the test for it being INT or COS will never be true.

figured it out. I can now type in a formula i.e. 5+SQRT(6*T/S)+c and i get the long equation of 5+SQRT(6*8.5/2000)+0.25 where T, S and c are linked to cell values

I'll start a new thread for my issues with not recognizing my values when like 'c' when they are the last in the string
