decompress compressed file attachment from a multipart/form-data POST request

I am sending this request to a web server:

Please Login or Register to view this content.

The response is fine besides for the "payload" which is a file that looks like a bunch of gibberish. It seems to be compressed. I have searched for a way to decompress the file but nothing has worked.

    I have tried
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    and
Please Login or Register to view this content.
which was suggested but I got the same response.

I also tried using MSXML2.XMLHTTP but then I got a certificate error.

I believe I need to force the server somehow to send a decompressed file but I am at a loss on how to do that. Is this possible?

you haven't actually asked any question! all you said was:
It seems to be compressed. I have searched for a way to decompress the file but nothing has worked.
but that doesn't mean anything if you said this previously:
The response is fine besides for the "payload"
if the response is fine *besides*, can you give any more info as to why you think the file is the issue?

by the way, if you want serious expertise on using web-based libs and DLLs within Excel's VBA model, and you have an account on LinkedIn, try contacting this man:

tell him that Adam from the state of Iowa in the USA recommended him. he's a professor and a genius in many languages, but primarily VBA.

The rest of the response is in plain readable English. The file is a bunch of random symbols and letters which usually happens when a file is compressed. My question which is pretty clearly spelled out in the last line is how do I decompress the file. I would post the response but its not letting me. Something about not being allowed to post links.

not that this is really relevant, but I ran across it from IBM. obviously this would be relevant to their clouds:

if you want to post a link, upload a txt file with the link in it. this forum uses cloudFare as a security platform. It is pretty serious and blocks a lot of content if it even gets close to thinking that it could be malicious. there is another way around it, but I'm sure the authorities here would give me an earful if I mentioned in publicly.

you can also post an image of the response, I would guess. you don't have enough of a post count to post links. but you might be able to attach files? I can't remember how that works.
