Live Office Add In: Cannot Modify Query

When I attempt to edit a Live Office Universe Query, the Edit Query window does not display. They system thinks there is a window, because if I:
• click on Excel, it bongs and the blue circle just keeps spinning.
• attempt to “End Task” in Task Manager, it tells me there is a dialog window that needs closed.
• if I hit ESC, Excel becomes functional.
