filter data to only show total hours for active Employees

    Hello all,

I have copied the data that I am trying to filter into the attached spreadsheet. On the HOURS_REPORT tab I have my current active roster names pasted in column A and my hours report names in Columns F & G. My need is to figure out a way to only get the Total Hours (Column H) for Active Employees. The active roster changes daily and I currently have to manually go through the data to remove names that are inactive. I know that there must be an easier way to complete this task. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Adam Newton

I copied all the data to the sheet that I am trying to get help on. Please look at the HOURS_REPORT tab and if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

    Thanks,

I updated the doc with formulas to complete your request. But I think using VBA to automate the process of creating a single sheet would be more effective.
