Unlock cell if its value equals to...

Hi, I was wondering what command I should use to get excel to unlock cell in a range if its value equals to "QUOTE REQ". I've tried the code below as well as Range("c").Locked = False command but it doesn't work. Do you have any ideas?

Your code works for me in as much as it changes the locked property of the cell to False.
However, there's nothing to turn the lock back on and in any case this property only has significance if the worksheet is protected.
