What specifically is the error message you are getting? Is the macro VBA or Excel 4.0 macros? Can you open the file in 2016?

You did not provide the specific wording of the error message.

You do not say what file type you are trying to save as. Try saving it as a .xlsm file.

If that does not work please attach the file for diagnosis.

Opening this file causes Excel to crash immediately (Excel 365). Repair doesn't work. Extract data doesn't work. I suspect this file is corrupted.
