Combining a single column from multiple csv files into one sheet of monthly columns

Hello,

I've described my problem here, but have made a bit of progress since then (though largely by slightly informed trial and error).

I had exported a PQT file but I can't attach it.

I *think* I've got column headers containing the date, and in Row 2 I have a table of data. When you click on the cell with the word 'Table' in, the data I want is listed on the screen. When I import this into Excel though, it doesn't work.

Am I on the right track?

To get the data under a month was using Add Column - Date - Month, then grouping the data by month. This creates an additional column, though, which is probably causing problems later on (when I am trying to merge a single column under each month).

Help/pointers/suggestions welcome.
