Online version refresh power query

Wasn't sure where to put questions about Online Web version of Excel, but figured this was appropriate.

We have a shared workbook, which multiple users access all day long. I have a power query query in it to look for incomplete work. From that query I have a pivot table to display the results.

The pivot works fine, but I can't refresh the query when it's online. I have to download the workbook, open it in the external app, refresh the query, delete and replace the original. This is very tricky, especially when other users are in the workbook.

is there a better way, and if so, how?
