Merging cells in every other row

Apologies, I am very new to Excel VBA and am posting this plea-for-help as a last resort. I need to merge a range of cells in every other row in a worksheet - rows 3, 5, 7, 9 etc - for however many rows there are in the data, from column B to L. So far I have been performing this task manually as I have not been able to find a solution online and sadly it's beyond my very limited VBA skills. If someone could help with the VBA code I would be very grateful. Many thanks, TE
