    production order assembly with macros

    Hi, I need help

I have to create a file assembling export orders in order to facilitate planning of their production.

I am not sure how to do it, and I am looking for help and guidance.
I have the following information in my data sheet:
    column A : # order
    column B: Name of client
    column C: Country
    column D: Material
    column E: Bottle size
    column F: Quantity
column G: Status with a drop down with options (completed / waiting for materials / materials are available)

I would like to create a matrix in another sheet which aggregates order quantity in a matrix where (vertically) in column A are the Material and as a subtotal are the Bottle size. Then in the following columns (on top and horizontally) are the Country and as a subtotal are the # Order.

I also need to have a filter in my matrix in order to sort through Status and Country. Lastly, there needs to be a Refresh button to add the new orders when they are added in my data sheet.

I have attached a screenshot of how the final result should look like called "example order matrix". I have also attached a simple table with the information from which the table would be generated called "table".

I hope this explanation is good enough. Apologies if some things are not clear enough as English is not my first language.

    Thank you in advance,

Hello chkoev and Welcome to Excel Forum.
Although it is hard to see the picture, I feel that a pivot table could do what you want.
In the attached file a pivot table is placed on Sheet1 which has Material and Bottle size in the Rows area; Country and Order # in the Columns area and Quantity (Sum of) in the Values area.
Note that there are slicers for Country and Status which may be used to filter the pivot table.
To refresh the pivot table select any cell inside the pivot table > right click the mouse > select Refresh.
Let us know if you have any questions.
