Macro Saving File Needs Grant Access

    Hi,
I searched for this topic and did not find anything. I have a macro that does some work in an Excel file and then saves it into a folder on my Mac. The folder changes every month and year. So, for example, this month/year, it would be in 2022 > July. Last month, 2022 > June, etc. Each month, the first time I use the new month's folder, I get a dialogue box that prompts me to "Grant Access" or deny. It's worked fine over the last couple of years since I set it up. A couple months ago, though, I accidentally hit "deny" (or whatever the other option was) and failed to "Grant Access." I've been manually saving the files, and I waited for the new month figuring it would reset and ask me again, but it did not. Is there a manual way to grant access to a folder for Excel on a MacBook?
I'm using a MacBook Pro that is updated and Excel 365 for Mac.
    Thanks in Advance!
    Jason

Unfortunately, Excel is not in the list, and even when I unlock the padlock to make changes in the System Preferences, the "+" button is grayed out. :-(
Maybe this is more of a MacBook question than an Excel question? I never really paid attention to where the "Grant Access" dialogue box was coming from, Excel or Mac.

Hmm I see, unfortunately I do not have a MAC so that is as far as I can help.

I am sure someone will be along soon with more MAC experience than me (that won't be hard)

Okay, I can't believe I didn't see this before posting a thread. I changed the location of the folders last month and apparently that was the issue, not the system failing to ask me to Grant Access. Sorry! :-( Such a stupid mistake on my part!! I probably wasted about an hour trying to figure out how to get the folder access granted before posting this thread, and somehow didn't think about having changed the folder location while researching.

Not a problem - if anything I am happy you do not have an issue anymore.
