    Macro to open Save As dialog box not saving the files

    Hello all!

    I am making a macro to specify a location for my teammates to save files too. I put the following code in a button to run a few macros to format the data and then prompt them to save the file. Everything seems to work fine opening the dialog boxes, but after i click Save, nothing happens.

    You should add .Execute after .Show

    Because workbook contains macro, you should save it as .xlsm rather then .xlsx

    I don't have a problem with a useful suggestion, but with a redundant and stupid suggestion.
    I didn't ban anyone from posting, but rather pointing out reasons why they shouldn't do it.

    @oEx

    Your opinion of other solutions offered is neither relevant nor needed. Anybody can offer any solution at any point in the thread.

    Keep your opinions to yourself, please. As Ford has advised, use the Report Button if you feel someone has added something completely irrelevant to a thread, but do NOT tackle it yourself: that is something that only Moderators and Administrators should be doing.

    Not from you. Mind your own business, please, unless you wish to be banned from posting here altogether. Thank you.
