Replacing cell after calculation

I have a number in F1, say 500. In K1 I put in a number like 4.7, that is today's percentage, (it changes 2 or 3 times per week) What I'm trying to do is to multiply 500 by 4.7%, then put that number 523.5 back into F1. I have played with F1*(1*(k1%))+F1 but get an error. I played with "Range". I decided to ask for help before I just give up!!
