Need a "Submit" button and to lock certain parts of the document.

Hello everyone,

I am working on a tracking form that times how long it takes employees to finish a side of work at a table. I would like to add 2 features on this form, but when I google for the info I only see outdated posts. Excel has changed its menus since these videos and the info is no longer relevant.

1) I would like to format the "SUBMIT" button on the form so it sends the results to me in table form.

2) I would like to lock out certain parts of the form so they cannot be changed by the users and only myself.

My mind-reading skills (for the underlined texts): Non-existent

The attached workbook is in .xlsx format and therefore doesn't contain any code which might just point us in the right direction.

Maybe just a LITTLE bit more information???

Hi Greg,

Thank you for the assistance. What I mean by "the results" I mean the info on the excel form itself. I would like the data they enter on the form to be emailed to me.

What I mean by "certain parts" is I don't want people to be able to modify the form at all. I would like them only to be able to enter data in the blank cells.

I have done a little research but the videos are a little outdated. Looks like the Excel version are older with different menus. Regardless I found this code to use, but am getting an error message.
