    Meter Tracking VBA Edits

    Hello,

Can the VBA be edited for the Meter Tracking part of the Vehicle Expense Tracker sheet so that:

    VBA Requirements:

When selecting Vehicle fill fields from latest odometer reading perhaps by date.

When saving (updating) ensure that the Reading is always higher than previous for that particular vehicle.

Ensure that save (update) code does not replace initial rows in sheet Meter Tracking.

    Thank you very much

What about a mis-type and the new reading is much higher than"expected": do you want a "sensibility" check of the difference between the readings? If so, will these values vary much between vehicles?
If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED.

This will check the mileage and also the date so it won't allow additional mileage for an earlier date.
I'm not sure I understand the Meter Tracking sheet because the initial list (A4:A13) is the same as the vehicle list looked up by a formula. I'm guessing that this will have increasing number of entries for each vehicle with additional mileage.

Values will vary much between vehicles.

These are sample data as I mentioned in another post.

I have one vehicle with 235000 miles and one with 45000 miles approximately. So a set value would not be appropriate.

Good point though with the sensibility check.

Yes @ByteMarks there will be additional recordings for each vehicle so I can possibly use the history of recordings. Not sure at this point how this might be useful time will tell.

Thank you I will give it a try.

PS Update the code works great!

You are amazing thank you so much.
