Convert currency on input

So I have searched a while and it's not quite clear to me how to do so.

Basically, all I want is a cell to convert one value I input into another currency and only that specific cell.

An Ex. '= "currency exchange rate" * "input value" '

I want it to do it automatically every time without needing to use several cells and formulas or editing the values in the formula.

So input say "1" and it converts it to something like 8 yen, or $0.1, or whatever other currency I need.

Just to confirm, do you have the currency exchange rate in your data or in some other tab? Also do you need to get the converted value in the same cell you update the value or in another cell against it ?

Also, where is defined what currency output you want to get?
Either you need to define what currency will your result show either you can see all currencies.

I have two currencies at the moment in separate cells that update in real time. The exchange rate between them constantly updates as long as I have an internet connection via live world data.

With regards to what I would like: Using that info from these currencies' exchange rate, I want to create a cell that "converts" values in real time as I simply input data into it. An example is I want to know how much $20 is in ZAR, so I input 20 into that cell and after I press "Enter", it shows something like the value 360 in ZAR keeping the exchange rate in mind.

How is the code supposed to know what your currency selection is...Do you have this in a dropdown...
Or is it only $ & ZAR
I suggest uploading a sample file showing setup...You will need a Worksheet_Change Event for this...

Anyway...This will give you an idea...Make selection in E1 and then Enter value in F1

I used the "Data" tab to get the currencies. The two separate cells is where I want to input a value then it spits out the value in the
appropriate currency. So I see something worth $34, type 34 it gives me the value in R regarding the exchange rate.

Same as any online converter, just built into the excel file itself.
