Hello all. Since retiring a few years ago, I have taken up Metal Detecting. I am still working with Excel less than when I was working, however, the gaps in time not using Excel has made me forget a lot of functions and formulas I used to know.
I have created a database for the coins I find. What I am wanting to do is be able to enter the date of the coin I found, press an “Enter” button and have it add to the total on the Coin Dates Sheet and then remove the entry from the Coin Entry Sheet for another entry afterwards.
The Coin Dates sheet tallies all of the coins found per date and has to be done manually which is time consuming.
I know that if I want an “Enter” button I will need a macro or two…I am not sure just how to make it work otherwise.
