A text box that formats a date

    Hello all,
I have created a text box in excel using the control toolbox, that my users will input a date. I need the text box to format the date so it can be
    month/date/year

so lets say they enter it day/month/year, it formats or converts it to
    month/date/year

anybody have the code for this
    thanks

    Slmi,

How would Excel know whether the user is entering a date in mm/dd/yy format vs. dd/mm/yy format if the date was, for example, May 7th or September 3rd? (5/7 or 7/5, 9/3 or 3/9)
