Workbook with VBA now has strange numeric formatting; also, VBA not working anymore

I have created a workbook to display golf scores and have written VBA code to fill the cells with a color dependent upon the # of strokes for each hole. All was working just fine until today. It appears that I have inadvertently changed the Excel global settings because now, for example if I enter a '6' in a cell, it will display as '0.06'. How can I undo this mess. Also the VBA code appears to be negated. What's happening?

Any thoughts on the subject will be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

    VBA difficulty

Sorry to be so very late in responding. The Excel Forum is totally sensational and I certainly wish to abide by the rules. Sorry for any inconvenience and I surely meant no disrespect. I don't see the "edit" option other than in this current post.

It's very nice even after 3 years that you like to do this. So:

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't aware of the need to request a moderator to change the title after two days. Thanks again.

    Re: Numeric madness

Rob, to keep things moving along and because you made an effort to change your title to something more descriptive, I have changed it again to something a little better. That title could describe any of thousands of problems posted.

If you are still having this problem, it would be a lot faster to solve if you attach your file.

    To post a file:
    1. Under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button.
    2. In the next screen look above the reply box and click the "paper clip" icon. You will get a pop-up screen.
    3. In the pop-up, click Add then Select to select a file from your local drive
    4. Click the Upload button to upload the file
    5. Click Done to attach it.

It will be displayed as an attachment underneath your post text. Alternatively as the last step you can click the Insert Inline button and a hyperlink to the file will be inserted directly into your post text in the spot where your cursor is set at the moment you click the button.
