    Vlookup Highlight

    Hi All,

    I'm after some help.
Attached is a list of data from 2 sources (Source A and Source B).

    I am looking for the ability to compare Columns A & B (Source A) to columns D & E (Source B).

The vlookup function should first match the Unique ID across Source A and Source B and then highlight (in yellow) the cells in Column D and Column E if the Finish Date differs between Source A and Source B.

Essentially the requirement is to compare 2 sets of values (Finish Date and Unique ID) from Source A and Source B and highlight in yellow the items where the Finish Date differs.

    Thanks, Rai

    Hi Rai

Highlight the area and In Conditional formatting, rules, put this formula, in first rule.

    =SUMPRODUCT(($A$3:$A$13<>$D3)*($B$3:$B$13=$E3))<>0

    Re: Vlookup Highlight

    Hi thanks for the response...

I can't seem to get this to work.

    1) I've highlighted the area
    2) Clicked on Conditional Formatting
    3) Clicked on "New Rule"
    4) Clicked on "Use a formula to detrmine which cells to format"
    5) Entered the formula you have provided
    6) Clicked on Format to choose a colour
    7) Clicked on Ok

Nothing seems to happen. Any ideas?

    Thanks, Rai
