Hide rows based on the value of a cell

I am very new to VBA, am getting it to work mostly through trial and error, and posts on this site.
    But I have become stuck.

I would like to be able to hide rows in a range named 'nonstandardbalrec' if the month of the date in range named 'O5date' is NOT March.
Regardless of the way the date is entered it will always show as dd mmmm yyyy, so I thought would be best to use a formula if Month = 3?

But I just cannot make it work.

Any help would be much appreciated
