Hi, I am Ariffin from Singapore. I just joined this forum today. I was googling for for excel tips when i chanced this forum. First and foremost i have not studied or have any knowledge in VBA. I found a few ebooks and have been practising and understanding them along the way while i attempt to solve a personal challenge.
I am planning to make a simple program where i press a button and a form pops up asking me whether i wanna key in new data or search from existing one. the data just consist of 2 heading ( name of place and serial number). i have several name of places and its individual serial number to go with it. I have read from pivot tables to creating the form.. but how do i auto sort the data i fill in but the names of places and the serial number. and how do i do a search function when i search for a specific name and serial on a form. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. I have ready for dummies book.. They are good but i cant seem to find the right commands that i can use for my program.
