How to add a floating text box in 2007

I've learned so much from this forum. Thanks guys. Well here's a problem that I found some answers and codes, but when I pasted the codes to my file, there's nothing happened.

So, I want to have a text box with several buttons on it shown in the spreadsheet, and when I scroll up and down, and add/delete data, the box should always be visible. It's something like the side navigation bar of this forum. I followed RoyUK's method from this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...-text-box.html, and pasted the following code to module 1, while nothing happened.

I don't know where did I do wrong, and I don't have any VBA knowledge.

I appreciate for the help! Thanks so much!

    Hi,
the code must be in the appropriate worksheet module, see example: FloatingTxt.xlsm

Thanks tehneXus for the reply and the example. While when I scroll down the sheet in your example, the text box still moved up along with the cells. Anything else did I miss?

It worked. While I have to click a cell to have the text box appear. Is it possible to make the text box stay there all the time?

The code isn't designed to work when you scroll.
If posting code please use code tags, see here.

afaik there is no event which will notice you scrolling, as suggested in the other thread use a userform:FloatingTxt.xlsm
