    auto email date coming due

    Hello,

    New to this world

I was hoping someone would help me...I have created a excel spreadsheet that is HR related with columns including hire date, 90 day review and 1 year review. How can i set up an email reminder ~30 days before? I am using MS 2010

Re: auto email date coming due

    Welcome to the forum

When do you want the email reminders sent out? When a button is clicked?

You only want it sent if its =30 days not <= 30 days(this may get excessive, it would equal 30 emails to one individual leading up to their review date)? Will it always be sent to the same email or differ depending on employee?
    Thanks,
    Solus

Okay. Can you upload a workbook with the identical format/headers etc but with dummy data to protect private information?

    Okay, last question-

Do you want one email for all of the dates < 30 or one email for each person whos date is < 30?

This code is designed to run every time the workbook is open. Please note I had to use a helper column (AG) that will show you if the email has been sent (Yes) or has not been sent (blank). If you delete yes from the column you will get duplicated reminders. You might want to title this column email sent or reminder sent, something of the like.

The email address goes where in the red lettering.

Place this in your workbook module:
