Copy two cells depending on data being input in another

    Hi All

When a town is input into C4:C10000
i want whatever number is in the adjacent F4:F10000
to be, that number, plus the number which will generate from a formula in X4:X10000

    so example

if i put "Luton" in C4, F4 will generate a number and X4 will generate a number, i want F4 to display both them numbers together, and loop through all which has data

    many thanks

    we dont have idea..

    * How "luton" is related with F4.
    * What is hte number in F4, wha you want to convert to F4 + X4.

Please upload sample file or.. elaborate lil bit more..
    Regards!

Re: Copy two cells depending on data being input in another

    Hi Thanks for the reply,

C4 is manually input (the town)
F4 is manually input (account number)

and depending on what town you input, i have a IF formula in X4 example =if(C4="Luton"),20,"") and a load more IFs depending on what town you input
so then when a user inputs a town in C4, X4 will create the prefix number relating to it
but the account number in F4 needs to be, that account number which they input with the town prefix number infront of it
So the idea is, the user inputs the town in C4 (with the adjacent X cell creating a prefix), inputs the account number, then once finished runs a macro that will add the prefix created in X4 to the account number in F4
    then to loop through C4:C10000

if this still isnt clear i will upload a file when i get home, thanks for your help
