I have an excel app that hides the spreadsheet and only uses a user form as a "GUI". When the spreadsheet is visible, it (spreadsheet name) shows up on the windows task bar. When just the user form is visible, it does not show up. Many times I have multiple windows open and have to minimize all of them to get to the user form. Is there a way to make it (user form) show up on the task bar when the spreadsheet is hidden?
Have you used showModal as 1. If you use Show modal as 1. This might help you

Nope, modal does no good. Any other notions anyone?
I am assuming that you are trying to show the userform like a stand alone app...
if my assumption is correct..
then
the userforms we can create in excel vba does not have its own identity like how an application would...
unless if the userform is created like an app separately from excel say visual basic for applications but not in excel, then that's the time you can have it shown on the windows taskbar...
similarly, you can only access that userform when the file holding it is opened...
don't worry, there's a lot of people that are far more confused than you

Ah Ha, that makes sense. Yes I was trying to use the form as a stand-alone app, without showing the parent app (excel sheet). Thanks much.
