How to automate a schedule that follows certain rules.

    Hello,

I am looking into making an automatic scheduler that follows certain criteria. We have only three daily shift patterns (8AM - 4PM, 9AM - 5PM, and 10AM to 6PM), I want to make a schedule that will automate the shifts between our staff.

There are a few rules that it would need to follow.

1: There are people that work set shifts
2: If a person is on holiday, they can't do the 8AM or 10AM shift,
3: staff need to do roughly the same amount of each shift,

I have searched over the internet and found several different things to help but I somehow can't manage to get the automation generated. Is this even possible?

I am also looking to incorporate a holiday request form and also a attendance tracker.

I am not looking for someone to build this for me, just to assist in the building.

    Thank You

This is a basic example of what I have so far. As it stands, I am manually working out the scheduling.
