What is the sense of Immediate IF (IIF)

    Hi,

    I have a question regarding the IIF-function:

This function will always evaluate both the true and false parts even though it only returns one. There is the sense to evaluate a result that is never used!

    Thank you very much,
    Lloyd

It's a VBA Function, tbh I rarely use it, but it can be handy when assigning variables:

I tend not to use it much though due to it evaluating both expressions though.

OK, so just in case you are assigning and not evaluating the true- and false-part this function has an advantage in the sense of reducing code.

    Thank you, Kyle
