auto run macro wont run

hello,
I have created a macro which get a file from my router and does some manipulations and generates a report.
Each time I run it manually, it gives me the expected output but generates this message, "Security warning Data connections have been disabled" and further along the bar there is a button :"Enable contant".
The macro does a simple data import.
The autorun macro doesn't work at all. I assume it's coded correctly since it is the same code I use in other macros that work fine.

Am I right in assuming this "feature" ius messing with the autorun macro? and if so how can I get past this roadblock ?

fyi this is Excel MAC 2011. It's a bit "quirky".
