Hi guys,
My question might not be complicated... I actually don't have much experience in VBA, so I need your kind help here.
First, some background: The worksheet from where I want to extract some information is not exactly a table /database. I have employee’s information on the top rows and training courses, date of last version of course (plus some other info) on the first columns. So, what we do, basically we populate the correspondent cell with the date the employee undertook a specific course. The cells that constantly changed are in the range named “records”. Based on the date, we know if they need to be trained on a newer version or not and we use a basic conditional formatting to highlight the obsolete ones. Also, if the training was taken to the latest version but, over than 2 years ago they need a refresher training.
Moving on to my question, I need to create two dynamic reports (could update as chenged or create a button to extract...):
1) One that shows me name of employees and training course they need to be retrained based on that date comparison and;
2) One that shows me name of employees and training course they need to be refreshed, base on “today()-730”.
If I had a database I think it would be easier for me to figure it out, but I have to work with what I got now...
Could anyone be any help to me? Much appreciated! =)
