output dependent on selections from 2 drop down lists

I have two drop down lists, and I want to make it so when combinations are selected using both lists certain data appears as an output. So: The first drop down list has ABCD and the second has 1234, how do I make the outputs correlate with A and 1, A and 2, B and 1, B and 4, etc.

Can you provide a sample of what you want to accomplish. It isn't very clear from the description.

Well, depending on the type of "drop down lists" something like this could work, assuming you fill in all the information you didn't supply

    Sure,

The first drop down list has the 4 states as options

    New York
    California
    Kentucky
    North Dakota

The second drop down list has different types of wagers on horse racing:
    WPS
    Multiple
    Exotic
    Superexotic

I need to have it where if you select "New York" and "WPS" it shows a certain set of data (distributions of money), that would be different than if you selected, for instance, "New York" and "Exotic."
