Hi Guys,

(MS Office version 2007)

I'm trying to accomplish something that may well be impossible to do but it's worth an ask. I have an excel spreadsheet that is interactive - I.e. when the user hovers over specific cells a graph is updated automatically with the appropriate data. There are 9 links of this kind and therefore 9 possible permutations. It's all working fine however what I'm trying to do is embed this into an Powerpoint presentation - the idea being that the user will be able to hover over the links in the same way as in excel to update the graph.

When you embed a spreadsheet it remains static. What I'm trying to work out is if it is possible to make it work in the exact same way as in excel - what I don't want is the user to have to click into the embedded excel to trigger the interactivity of the workbook.

Is this even possible? Am I going about this in completely the wrong way?

There's probably hundreds of other more suitable applications to do something like this however I'm a little limited.

Thank you for your help - apologies if this is more suited in a Powerpoint forum.

Regards,

Hamzah
