I am about to roll out a macro which will be used by many (100+ users). Its a macro with a bunch of userform and its purpose is to automate processes and generate reports. My problem is when someone is using the macro and a new user opens the same macro file, the 2nd user will get a prompt message that he can only use the macro as read only. Of course I want them both to open the file as "read only" so as not to destroy my file. What I want is a user can only open the macro file as read only upon opening without prompt, how do I do this? If I can do this successfully, how do I open the file as an admin user and not as "read only"?
