    Report card from excel list

    Hello Guys.

    Maybe somebody can help me here. I work for a school, I have an excel sheet that contains columns with a list of students and their grades for several courses, I need to create a report card with that information...every student has their own ID which is repeated cell by cell depending the numbers of subjects that the student is taking.

    Does someone have an idea of what can I do and if is possible to do this in excel, ms access, etc?

    Hi and welcome to the forum,

    See if a Pivot Table can do what you want. I've done a PT on a new sheet and changed some of the default formatting.

    Hi. Thank you very much for your help.

    Yes I need something like that, but I need to print all the reports per student, in a sheet with a header and footer included. Is that possible as well?

    Can you create the header and footer on the same sheet that has the pivot table and then filter students one at a time and do a print?

    If you knew some VBA you might automate the whole process but doing it by hand a few times is a great start..

    Yes, I will need to atumate the process because I have 400 students, selecting one at the time for printing it will take me a long time.
