    Parsing data in a UDF

    Hi Fellow Forum Members
I need help with the modification of a UDF that was provided for me. The UDF basically converts values like "365SS+4wks, 175" to "365, 175". Where I need the UDF changed is allow values such as "23,456,567,666" to remain as shown. Here is a copy of the UDF:

Re: Parsing data in a UDF

If its not meant to effect cells like that why don't you check for that format before "calling" the function?
    Thanks,
    Solus

Suggest you post a sample workbook with ALL the expected formats and what you want to see from the UDF.

Who provided the UDF? Maybe you can PM them and get them to look at it for a quicker answer.

    Hi All
Many thanks for the feedback. I have just managed to find the contact details of the person who provided the UDF a few years ago. I will contact them.
    Thanks again.
