    Update database with vlookup

Hi is it possible to use vlookup to update my database?

I'm thinking if it is possible that i will use vlookup to search for the PO number then update the status and completion date on the same column with the help of userform

    Re: Update database with vlookup

Hi again xia0jj, just a side note; it is usually better to just upload a sample workbook, or if your request is extremely clear cut, describe it in clear details. Only if you really think uploading screen shots / pictures will do better should you do it.

You don't need to use VLookup for this.

Because you did not upload a sample, I am guessing your form objects' names.

Hi Millz, I apologize for the brief description.

Unfortunately, the output seems to have problems. It turns out to be in the command button's sheet itself instead of "CustomerInfo"

    Re: Update database with vlookup

If you want to set it blank, don't enter any spaces. And option buttons' value hold a boolean (true/false or -1/0), so setting a space or blank to it will give you an error.

    Re: Update database with vlookup

    Hi Millz, one more question.

I'm planning to use the PO number to trace the status of the order.

The PO number and status are under "CustomerInfo"

Sorry again for the brief description
