Smile How To Save Macro File Not Using .XLSM Extension

    Hi Ignited Minds,

I would just like to know how to save a workbook that has macros in it without giving it .xlsm extention.

I mean i have seen files with macros with .xlsx extensions, however when i save a file with VBA codes it forces me to save it as .xlsm.

    I work on office 2010.

    Thanks in advance

If you wish macros in the file it must be .xlsm, .xlsb or .xls (or macro-enabled template/add-in)

You may not save file as .xlsx with macros.
