When i enable Macros Excel is crashing, even when there are no macros in the workbook. Is there any reason for this?

Hello comp,
When Excel exhibits odd behaviour, it is usually a problem associated with Registry entries. Defragment both your drive and registry. This should clear up the problem.

Thanks for the advice. I did that and also saved the offending workbook as macro-free, which i think exorcised the demons.
