auto fill cells based on 1st cell

Hi,

I am new and most likely my question has been asked and answered before.

I would like to put information into a cell and based on that info have other cells auto fill.

so if I type 5 axle into cell B cell C and maybe D would fill with certain info, if I type 7 axle into cell B cell C would auto fill with different info.

Maybe it isn't possible, hope it is.
I am not very good with excel so am not familiar with a lot of terms. Already doing a search for an answer I found 'drop down box' and I don't know how to do that. Gonna go try and learn. Searching got confusing, not sure if the answers I was looking at were my solution so thought I would just ask.

It is definitely possible. It sounds very specific in terms of entry and results, which can take a long time to code. You also didn't specify the row. Is it cell B1, B2, the entire column? Something like this answers your specific question but would need tweaking to incorporate all your possibilities: (I assumed column B)

The cells used would be more like B6 then B7 would fill. Ideally something like this.

B6(large longhair dog)B7($45 hr) B8 (2.5 hrs) B9 ($113)

So I would enter lg br dog, B7 would auto fill, I would enter 2.5 and B9 would auto fill.
I have been doing the auto sum but I dont know if the rest of it is possible.
