Exclamation Complicated Issue: Shared Excel form to send id that is in a drive that people dont access

    Hi Everyone,

I have an issue where I am adding on a Terms and Conditions user form to a excel document for the 4.5k people that access this. This is pulled from website and Opened in Read only.

On the user form I have 3 command buttons:

Terms and conditions - links to terms and condition file - works fine
Decline - Closes workbook - works fine
Accept - Goes to home page and allows people to check there details.

What I would like to do as well is when the person click accept to sends there ID to another excel document, now I can do this if they have access to the drive although, the majority of people that will be accessing will not have the drive access and are not allowed to have the drive access.

Is there any way to do this and doing it through Excel?

Why not just put a copy of the T&C doc onto a drive that employees do have access to ?

Everyone has access to the Terms and Conditions, its the fact that I need to be able to see that they have accepted the t+c's and then I can do a check against who has accepted against the staff list to excempt them from the scheme

I would suggest keeping the options within the central employee database you are developing... a yes/no column

Ah its alright, thanks for your suggestion, I added a new mail box and the acceptance command box sends an email to a t+c mail box for records
