open 2003 .xls file via 2007 version excel file

Hi all,

i have excel file (.xls). While i try to open via 2007 excel file i am getting below message,

"The file you are trying to open, "monthly.xls" is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the
file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?"

The file is not corrupted and i understand this is because of version of excel files. If i click yes , its opening fine.

So how do i open such .xls file via Vba code, by vba code to opt Yes.

to open .xls as file without that interupting of error msg and save as the file in .xlsm
