Quick posting question regarding links/video/which fourm

    Hello,
I'm an engineer, took a class in Fortran and Pascal 20 years ago. Otherwise new to programming and Excel programming
beyond "COUNTIF" functions. I'm in an extremely urgent position to complete this within a day or 3, the cost
if I fail could be something akin to a year's income if I don't achieve this.

Are we allowed to post a video or link to a youtube video describing our Excel programming goal?
I've read and searched all the faq's and only see instructions for uploading spreadsheet or pics.
I don't want to put anyone off with links or videos if they are not allowed or atypical, it just seems easier to explain succinctly.

Is it frowned upon to put "extremely urgent" in the text body (I'm sure it's true for 90% posting)?
Is it allowed to offer payment for a solution? I would prefer to learn myself if that's doable and the format will
likely change depending on what I can manage. But it would be great to find someone to take 15 or 30 minutes to coach me by screen share with compensation.

Should I post this in "Excel Programming / VBA / Macros"?

The issue is I have a file of about 50,000 entries to process.

    The post simplified is:
I want to take the "fee" in line 3 and add it into the "cost basis" of the "trade" in line 2.

    programming instructions:
    1) If the time stamps are the same, add cost basis together
    2) make the cost basis of "trade" = the new total
    3) either delete line 3 "fee", or convert it so it's not included in the last column "gain/loss"
this must be only the fee with same time stamp. I cannot delete all "fees".
    4) optional: modify line "3" to say "cost basis included in trade above"

Is there a video which I could watch or instructions to perhaps solve this 80% before posting whatever
    challenge remains?
What is this type of programming called where you are editing cells based on conditions of other cells,
and/or deleting rows, etc. Where should I start/ Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

    Thank You.
