Missing tools for Excel 365?

I'm unable to locate certain tools in Excel 365 that are normally present in Excel 2016 (desktop version). For example, I want to split the spreadsheet, but the 'Split' button isn't in the view tab in the 365 version of Excel.

Are you talking about 365 desktop, or Excel Online?

Excel Online does not have the same features as a desktop version.

The online version. Okay. Thank you for the info.

Split is one of the features not available with Online.
