    Scaling

I know that scaling is a system setting, everyone says to adjust the system scaling. BUT. Every non-office program is not having this issue, and I cannot adjust scaling below 100% to accommodate an office glitch!

    Attachment 719106

This is stitched together from two different systems. Both systems have multiple displays, all using 1920x1080, all at 100% scaling. Both of these images, outside of the theme, at one time would have looked identical. But, the ribbon on the left has something screwy with the scaling and looks... posh.

This scaling incorrectly screwed itself up after an issue. I was attempting to watch a video on a website, the screen I was doing that on, the laptop's monitor, suddenly stopped displaying. I tried changing to display only on the second screen, then back to both screens, or trying to display on only the laptop screen, it was just black. I restarted the system and it was back to displaying on both screens - but now the scaling was wonky... on the second external display.

The laptop monitor is smaller then the external, but both are set to 1920x1080 and 100% scaling. This also has not been an issue for the last two years that I've been using this laptop/monitor setup. I also thought I might be going crazy and my eyes started playing tricks on me, thus why I took the screenshots from two separate systems to compare together and prove that the scaling is different. But why, and why now after two years? A new Office update that my other system hasn't been plagued with - if so, please, undo it Microsoft and don't ever repeat that dark idea ever again.
