DAX measure not calculating Average

I have two measure one typed out in full and another using and existing mesure:

A < CALCULATE ( AVERAGEX (dDate, SUMX (
fTransacion,
ROUND (
fTransacion[UnitsSold] * RELATED ( dProduct[RetailPrice] ) * ( 1 - fTransacion[Discount] ),
)
) >

and anothre which uses and existing measure (the sumx part of above call Total Revenue)

B < AVERAGEX(dDate,[Total Revenue]) >


and I would expect the same result from both , but the B method returns the same figure does not have any row context
and I get the same figure recurring, I've tried wrapping in CALCULATE, even though the tutorial I was following said not necessary

What am doing wrong?
